A responsible lifeguard must be present either from Goldsmith Swim or from the renter . Cost is $40 for outdoor pool, $35 for swim spa, or $70 to use both simultaneously .

Pay as you go price : $50 (25 min lesson) or $100 (45 min lessons for 2 children)

There is an extra $10 fee per lesson for bringing 2 children in a individual slot. (Please note that other children can only join if they don't detract from the lesson and the parent is supervising)

Lesson Packages effective May 2025:

$175 for 4 25 minute slots (for 1 student) , when a weekly slot is booked for 4 consecutive weeks (please note that packages are only for consistent time slots!)

Semi Private Lessons: $350 for 4 45 minute slots for 2 children (when a weekly slot is commited to for 4 consecutive weeks) .

Rent the other pool while your child has lessons, for only $20

This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults and children and meets OSHA/workplace requirements.
Course can be done all in person or with blended learning. Offered through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Classes offered approximately twice a month. Price depends on various factors including individual vs. group class, blended learning vs. fully instructor led , and what type of class is being offered. Please contact for details. Please note Rabbi Yitzchok Goldsmith is now also a certified BLS and CPR instructor and is offering in addition to Mrs. Shira Goldsmith.

Swimming
Successfully complete the two prerequisite swimming skills evaluations:
Prerequisite 1: Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence without stopping to rest:

Jump into the water and totally submerge, resurface then swim 150 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both. (Swimming on the back or side is not permitted. Swim goggles are allowed.)

Maintain position at the surface of the water for 2 minutes by treading water using only the legs.

Swim 50 yards using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both.
Prerequisite 2: Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds:

Starting in the water, swim 20 yards. (The face may be in or out of the water. Swim goggles are not allowed.)

Surface dive (feet-first or head-first) to a depth of 7 – 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object.

Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point, holding the object at the surface with both hands and keeping the face out at or near the surface.

Exit the water without using a ladder or steps.
